End Of Term For Elf School 11/07/2009
Yesterday was the last day of Elf School until Christmas is over, and so we had lots of excited little elves running about celebrating the end of term. Elf School breaks up this early because from now on we need all the help we can get, and all the little elf children come and help out in the workshop. Last night we threw them a big end of term party. Mrs Claus had made them lots of yummy food - chocolate snowballs, Christmas tree pizzas, hot buttered crumpets, popcorn and candy canes, all washed down with her delicious hot chocolate. I have to confess that I ate a little bit too much myself and had a bit of a tummy ache! Then we played games and danced and sang Christmas carols. What fun! Today Alfred the elf has asked me to tell you his favourite joke: How many elves does it take to change a light bulb? Ten - one to change the light bulb and nine to stand on each other’s shoulders!!
